We believe that Dongyang Culture and Art Centers should express the cultural spirit of Dongyang city. The core of Dongyang's urban artistic spirit is thousands of ordinary Dongyang citizens. From the functional perspective, the word "emergence" echoes the deep understanding of Dongyang Sanxiang culture. In our design, three buildings with entirely different functions(museum, art gallery, library ) and commercial spaces are designed as a whole to link different groups of people. At the same time, various public events throughout the year are held in this building cluster according to various citizens, linking culture and art with the daily life of citizens. The merged function design strategy makes visitors with different backgrounds meet together, gain new inspiration, and burst out more brilliant cultural fruits of Dongyang in the future. In terms of architectural details, the thousands of aluminium plate modules on the roof provide a canvas for thousands of skilled Dongyang craftsmen, artists, calligraphers, and educators, making the building itself a living work of art. 

 我们认为东阳文化艺术中心应该是东阳城市文化精神的表达。而东阳城市文化精神的内核是千千万万个普通东阳人民。在功能内核中，“涌现”一词呼应了对东阳三乡文化的深刻理解。在我们的设计中，三个功能完全不同的建筑体量和商业服务等功能被当成一个整体设计， 将不同的人群链接起来。同时在这个建筑集群里根据不同市民置入了全年度各种公共活动策划，链接了文化艺术和市民日常生活。让一个个来访者能够相遇，获得新的灵感，迸发出东阳未来更璀璨的文化果实。在建筑细节上，屋顶的数千个铝板模块给千千万万个精湛的东阳工匠、艺术家、书法家、教育家提供了画布，让建筑本身可以成为一个具有生命力的艺术品。
