The project creates an independent, complex urban commercial space and a public space closely connecting with its surroundings. It will be a landmark showing the characteristics of Hangzhou Bay New District for citizens and tourists. As an optional design intention, "streamer" quickly stood out: the sea-crossing bridge, like a sea
ribbon, is the symbol of Hangzhou Bay New District and the main artery that injects vitality into Hangzhou Bay New District. It is not only an engineering miracle but also shows the incredible creativity of the Chinese nation. It is appropriate to reproduce such an intention in this core plot artistically. This design does not simply imitate the pattern but generates flexible space. 

整个建筑群不仅是一个独立的复杂城市商业空间，而且是紧密的将自身与周围环境联系到一起的公共空间。它的建立将为市民、游客创造一个能够展现杭州湾新区特色风貌的地标。“飘带”作为可选的设计意向很快就脱颖而出：犹如海上飘带一样的跨海大桥是杭州湾新区的标志，是给杭州湾新区注入活力的大动脉，它不仅仅是工程上的奇迹，也展现了中华民族伟大的创造力。在这个核心地块艺术化再现这样的意向我们认为是最合适的。这并不是单纯模仿图案，而是把空间的灵动的组织方法运用到建筑空间中去，衍生出来的带状元素在建筑立面和屋顶中变换，如同丝带舞者翩翩起舞。
